I believe it’s someone who scored a 2:2 and cried in the corner while drinking a bottle of Jack Daniels in an attempt to console themselves. According to my experience, those who receive firsts are generally no more difficult than those who receive seconds, because there is little to no difference in their job performance beyond marginal grades. It’s not something I’m attempting to be disrespectful of, but you’re coming off bitter and desperate to make yourself feel better. I don’t even know what to begin with? Are you real? In general, 1sts are obtained by students who perform well in exams (though some may find this strange), 2:2s reflect a more rounded student who demonstrates a keen understanding of both academics and the lives of students in the University environment. In general, the first-year worker is no more difficult than the second-year worker, who earns two, one, or twos. It’s unlikely to make a huge difference in the job app’s design, but it might provide a few points of differentiation. Is a 2.1 degree better than a first class degree? Most people would benefit from a first experience if it improved their self-confidence.
